Lisa Galloway-Sprietsma Artist Statement: "My paintings are inspired not only by the traditional still life, but also by the myriad of fruit produced from the trees on our farm. I love simplistic, yet bold and colorful compositions. I find this easier for me to achieve on a larger canvas. I also like working on larger canvases because the painting process then feels similar to working in a three dimensionsal medium.
