Chuck Hutler Chuck is a self-taught woodcarver. He grew up in Wisconsin where he and his wife Ann owned and operated a meat market/convenience store until they retired in 2000. He is no stranger to sharp knives! He has been producing fantasy houses, characters and assorted animals the last five years. Chuck can look at a piece of wood or bark and visualize a finished product. The wood doesn’t always produce what he has planned, but he manages to change his designs as necessary. Woodcarving is his most important hobby and he usually works on a piece almost every day. Chuck is happiest when he is busy and has produced hundreds of carvings. He is thrilled when friends or potential customers admire his work and make him an offer. It takes many hours to finish each creation.
