Jeff Valdez Artist Statement: "I enjoy creating images by combining color, movement and design. I strive to capture the soul of a landscape, or to freeze exploding energy into a visual drama. I’ve been taking photos for 25 years, and am continually striving to perfect my craft. I live in southeastern Arizona, in the small town of St. David. It's located about 50 miles southeast of Tucson. The wild west is just outside my backdoor, with historic towns like Ft. Bowie and Tombstone begging to be photographed.
