Johnny Vaughn
Johnny’s oil on canvas and oil on board paintings often depict the Old West way of life. When he began painting, faces represented the most difficult feature to replicate. As a result, Johnny started concentrating primarily on that aspect of his artwork and let it progress. Today, his painting style is frequently characterized by his subjects’ faces, especially the eyes, which often give his portraits a life-like appearance.
During the past three decades, he’s sold many paintings to private collectors throughout the United States. For the past five years, Johnny has lived and painted at his home studio in Scottsdale, Arizona.
